A new version of the mine is ready. Your progress is already saved — reload to pick up where you left off.
A new page every day at midnight UTC. Missing a day costs you nothing but the run.
One story at a time. Ordinary mining and collected contracts uncover its clues, wherever you dig, even while you're away. Nothing expires.
Keepsakes go on your shelf in the Bunkhouse. Displayed ones work for you, and both halves of a story work harder together. Your bunk decides how many you can put out.
Mining and worker income count while you're away. Completed rewards wait for you.
New contracts every 6 hours at 00:00, 06:00, 12:00 and 18:00 UTC. Paying the debt keeps your contracts.
Pay the debt once to unlock terms.
You earn oil by paying Lord Ashcombe's debt — and the mine gives up the odd flask to anyone still swinging. Every flask you hold makes everything you earn worth more, and the more you hold the harder each one works. Spending one here trades that for a targeted, permanent perk instead. Choose what fits how you play.
You owe Lord Ashcombe $50M. Tap the mine to swing your pick. Cash buys pickaxes (hit harder) and crew (earn every second, even while you're away). Save up to descend — every layer pays more. Pay the debt to walk out, then go back down with lantern oil for a permanent bonus.
Idle Depths has a shared leaderboard, so the rules are simple:
Breaking these can mean removal from the leaderboard, a reset, or a ban. Calls are made by the developer and are final. Play straight and none of this matters.
What we store: when you sign in with Discord we keep your Discord user ID and display name, and your game save (cash, upgrades, progress, the display name and colors you choose). That's it — no email, no messages, no friends list. The Discord login only asks for the identify scope.
Where it lives: on Cloudflare's servers. A signed cookie keeps you logged in for 90 days.
What's public: your display name, title, avatar colors, keepsake count, depth, oil, and lifetime cash appear on the leaderboard for anyone playing.
Not signed in? Your save stays in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.
Deleting your data: use "Reset progress" in the Bunkhouse to wipe your save, or email us to remove your account entirely.
No ads, no tracking, no selling data.
Bugs, ideas, name changes, data removal, or just to say the Wyrm is unfair:
Made by Avila. Thanks for digging.
Signing in with Discord keeps your mine in the cloud and on every device. If you'd rather not, you can take a copy of it yourself — a backup code you can paste back in later, or on another browser.
Anyone holding your code can load your mine. Treat it like a password.
Bug reports, name changes, and data removal requests all go here. Include your Discord name so I can find your mine.
Your corner of the mine. Your look, your shelf, your record.
Locked colors unlock with trophies. Hover one to see how.
Reset all progress, including lantern oil, and begin a fresh mine.
Good to have you back. Here's what happened while you were away.
Your earnings are already in your mine.
You've mined $0 so far. Right now it only lives in this browser — clear your history or switch devices and it's gone.
Sign in with Discord to save to the cloud, keep your progress on any device, and get on the leaderboard. It only asks for your name.
Sign in with DiscordIdle Depths has a shared leaderboard, so anything that swings for you — autoclickers, macros, scripts — is against the fair play rules. Nothing has been taken from you and nothing has been reported. If you want the pick moving on its own, hire an auto-swinger from the Upgrades tab: it is built for exactly that, and it counts.
